Matchmaking Process | Participate | Sponsor | Startup Process

The Creative Industries Xchange (CIX) is a platform for business owners and creative professionals to come together to conceive and collaborate on fresh, new business ideas. Through business-matching sessions, participants can explore creative solutions, innovative business opportunities and leverage on cross-industry experience.

CIX offers two unique tracks for participants:

(a) Track 1 – Build-to-order: Work with dedicated sponsors to develop business ideas based on pre-defined business parameters or a set of design specifications. Even if your idea is not selected for funding, it will be channelled into the CIX Ideas Bank, where it will receive attention from other potential sponsors or resource persons.

(b) Track 2 – Design & pitch: In this scenario where sponsors do not have any specific requirements at the commencement of the CIX cycle, you will develop and pitch an original idea via the CIX Ideas Bank, which will be accessed by potential sponsors or funders prior to the actual pitch session.

Either way, the outcomes of collaborative ideas between various participants may translate into a proposal to potential sponsors for support in the form of seed funding, to develop the prototype.
