ArtWine >> CIX project notes
sq--artwineThe group came up with the concept of creating fabric-related accessories for wine bottles in order to boost the sales. The main method is to create a lasting impression on the consumers by using gift enhancements to wine packaging. In particular, they explored the possibility of integrating art and wine by utilising the empty space on the back end of wine bottles to showcase either art or patterns that would attract buyers. This will also allow the products to distinguish themselves from the rest of the brands on the shelves and in the market.

TrimSound >> CIX project notes
sq--trimsoundThis concept from the team is to create a new Bluetooth headset that would have the unique ability to lower the volume coming into the headset upon detecting human vocals being transmitted externally, thus allowing for conversations to take place without the need to remove their headsets. The headset can also act as a hearing aid for the audio-impaired, with the ability to amplify the sounds that are coming into the earpiece. Besides the advancement in technology, the headset will also be differentiated based on design (look-and-feel), to create a contemporary product that fits into the lifestyle of today’s modern society.

WiMe sq-WiMe_portal>> CIX project notes
The idea is to create a music portal to be used as a platform for dual purposes – as a showcase for the product placement of the WiMe brand throughout the videos as well as to use these videos as part of the Singapore brand. The videos are locally produced and showcase local expertise in terms of music and videography. The videos will be marketed virally through various channels including external outlets such as Youtube and Second Life. The main objective is to raise awareness of the videos amongst the public and to create a loyal following.

Wine Aerator >> CIX project notes
sq-wine_aeratorThis product aims for a niche but growing and very profitable market: that of the wine collecting and drinking community. While there are existing products in the market, the unique selling point of this concept lies in the design – this wine aerator combines both the visual as well as the audio senses besides its function, creating a waterfall feature with accompanying “breathing” sounds as the wine is being poured into the aerator from the bottle. As of now, there is no other product in the global market that combines the aesthetic and design elements that this concept offers.
